Additional Terms and Conditions relating to ISO/TS 16949 certification

Provision of assessment reports to IATF

As a nominated certification body for ISO/TS16949, BSI are required on occasion to supply assessment reports to IATF for their review, as part of their control of the nominated certification bodies.  Your signing of the formal Application for Registration for ISO/TS16949 will acknowledge this requirement, and act as your authorisation to provide any reports requested by IATF.

IATF Witness Audits

In order to maintain its status as an IATF recognised certification body for ISO/TS16949, BSI is subject to regular Witness Audits from IATF.  Witness audits are conducted at a supplier's site, witnessing an audit team from a certification body during an assessment to verify conformance with all requirements of ISO/TS16949 assessment scheme.

Your signing of the formal Application for Registration for ISO/TS16949 will acknowledge your acceptance of the possible requirement to nominate any assessments of your organisation as IATF Witness audits, and of your acceptance to afford any access as appropriate to witness auditors, IATF representative or their delegates for this purpose.

Notification of Sanctions

If at any time following certification to ISO/TS16949, your organisation is placed under any customer-enforced sanctions, it is necessary for you to inform BSI in writing within five working days.
